The Chamber of Architects of Turkey and its Antalya regional branch launch an international award programme that aims to reveal ideas on urban intersection areas: stops. They will serve as the basis for discussions during the international young architects meeting, planned in Antalya, in October 2011.

The Architects Association of Catalonia (COAC) announces the venue in Barcelona of "Initiating Projects" an International Symposium of young architects to be held on 14, 15 and 16 October 2010 at the headquarters of the COAC. This symposium will seek to generate a debate between young practitioners on the topic: HOW and WHEN to start a project, in Spain and abroad.

Global Studio will take place in Bhopal (India) from January 4-21, 2011. Through the People Building Better Cities conference (January 4-6), workshops (January 7-8) and a participatory hands-on design and planning studio (January 7-21) participants will learn from theory and practice in India and other countries, focus on urban issues of importance to the City of Bhopal and its disadvantaged communities, and help build an international network of practitioners, researchers, educators, and students who can contribute to improving the lives of the urban poor.
