GUNNEL ADLERCREUTZ (Finland)
UIA Vice President Region I (1993-1999)
A graduate of the University of Technology, Gunnel Adlercreutz has her own private practice designing housing projects, public buildings, recreational facilities and carrying out town planning.
She was president of the Finnish Association of Architects (SAFA) from 1992 to 1993 and the UIA Nordic Section (1987-1993). Since 1995, she has been Director General of the Finnish Building Information Institute and is a key member of government committees on cultural, architectural and construction matters working for quality in architecture and the built environment; she is also President of the Foundation of Environmental Art.
A UIA Council member from 1990 to 1993, she is Vice President for Region I since 1993 and has been reelected into office.
