| Athena taught men how to devise chariots of war, and taught women the art of weaving. These activities evoke complex patterns of know-how and intelligence, as well as notions of transformation and knowledge of bodily limits. The goddess wore a draping garment, the movements of her body causing its metamorphosis, creating an infinity of changing, ephemeral forms, while giving her invulnerability. The notions of the ephemeral and of perpetual mutation are the foundations of this project. http://www.degrezero.com |
