 VMZINC, world leader in rolled zinc for façades and roofings, will sponsor the UIA awards ceremony, on Tuesday 27 September 2011, at 19:00, in the Tokyo International Forum.This ceremony, in the presence of all congress delegates, honours the winners of the UIA prizes, amongst which the prestigious Gold Medal, that will be presented to the Portuguese architect Àlvaro Siza Vieira. VMZINC belongs to the Building Products Unit of the UMICORE Group that persues an industrial strategy for sustainable development, producing catalytic converters, key materials for electrified vehicles, for high-efficiency solar cells and other photovoltaic applications based on germanium substrates and recycling of precious metals.
