The different scales of the houses: Multi-scale system of sustainability To plan housing in relation to scale is to approach the complexity of sustainable town planning through community participation according to different scales: cohabitation, proximity and citizenship. This convergence allows the creation of roots for the new inhabitants and the emergence of a consciousness, historic, environmental and human, oriented towards sustainability. These community-sustainable scales have to integrate the geography of the site, to become part of the topography and generate a global vision that defines the architecture and town planning of the environment.
