Only UIA Sections are members of the UIA. However, any architect, architecture student, firm or institution can take advantage of the personalised information services which gives him, her or it access to the international UIA network: Personal Information Service. The following benefits are offered through an annual subscription:
The monthly newsletter (in English and French) which includes in news brief form, the activities of the UIA, its Member Sections and Work Groups, international organisations and the main international architectural events around the world. For each item of information, a contact is stated (address, telephone and fax number, e-mail address);
a press release mailing on international competitions and UIA Congresses sent out by the UIA General Secretariat;
a constantly updated calendar of international architectural events;
access on request to certain UIA files.
The UIA General Secretariat in Paris is at the disposal of professionals throughout the world to help them get into contact with Member Sections, other professional organisations, institutions or teaching establishments.
