PAM is organising the second
UIA forum in Asia

The Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) is organising a UIA regional Forum in Kuala Lumpur on 6 and 7 July 2007 on the theme: “Design energy”. Architects from Malaysia and Asia invite all architects worldwide to celebrate designs of architects who have this tremendous energy and vision in pursuing their craft of creating exciting and inspiring spaces and buildings strongly founded in their personal ideas and beliefs.

So far, the confirmed speakers are
Zhao Xiaojun (Shanghai, China); Ma Yansong (Beijing, China); Cho Minsuk (Korea); Ryue Nishizawa (Japan); Mok Wei Wei (Singapore); Billie Tsien (USA), Chris Lee & Kapil Gupta (London/Mumbai), Rory McGowan (Director, Arup, Beijing office) and Lillian Tay (Malaisie). The Moderator is Professor Phillip Goad, Professor of Architecture at Melbourne University, Australia

The Malaysian Institute of Architects has invited the
UIA Bureau members to meet on July 4 and 5.

PAM Convention and ARCHIDEX07 the architectural design and construction Fair will take place from 5-8 July 2007 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Registration fees for the UIA Regional Forum are
US $ 160.
