![]() Active House Alliance is a network of partners (companies, universities, institutions, individuals) and knowledge sharing. It is a vision of buildings that create healthier and more comfortable lives for their occupants without impacting negatively on the climate. UIA’s strategy for sustainable by design architecture, launched in Copenhagen, during the United Nations conference on climate change, shares these objectives. The International Union of Architects and Active House Alliance will cooperaate and work together on sectors of common interest. The memorandum was signed by Louise Cox, UIA President and by Michael K. Rasmussen, Partner of Active House Alliance, on the occasion of the prize giving event organised for the 2010 edition of the International VELUX Award, for students of architecture. This biennial Award, that meets with an ever growing success, was organised for the 4th time, under the aegis of the UIA.
