The International Union of Architects announces the launch of the WAN AWARDS 2010 Civic Buildings sector.

This award is in recognition of buildings recently completed or un-built in the civic buildings sector: museums, theatres, police stations or any other public buildings, constructed over the last three years (since 1 January 2007).

Architect Eva Jiricna will be the UIA representative on the jury.

Submission deadline for the Civic Buildings awards sector is 30 June 2010.

Each session of this bi-monthly awards programme is devoted to a different sector. The following session will be for urban design projects. The WAN AWARD programme is organised by World Architecture News, an international on-line architectural magazine, UIA media partner.
