This annual international prize, open to architects and professionals of landscape planning worldwide, aims to highlight completed landscape projects and to promote quality in urban or forest green spaces. It recompenses three types of projects and awards two prizes, the first of 2 500 euro and the second of 1000 euro, in each of the following categories:
Landscape design in transformation of the territory; Urban green spaces; Private gardens and parks in cities and suburbs.
The international jury met on 24 March 2006. It was composed of practitioners designated by the following professional organisations:
• The International Union of Architects (UIA): Nela De Zoysa (Sri Lanka);
• The International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA):Thanos Sklavenitis, Greece);
• The European Foundation of Landscape Architects(EFLA): Joeri De Bekker (Netherlands);
• The European Federation of Landscape Architecture (FEAP): Patrizia Ingallina (Italy);
• The Italian National Council of Architects, Planners, Conservators, Landscape architects (CNAPPC): Antonio Mugnai (Italy);
• The Council of the National Order of Italian Agricultural Engineers and Foresters (CONAF): Elisabetta Norci (Italy)
• The Italian Association of Landscape Architecture (AIAPP): Barbara Invernizzi (Italy)
and
• Robert Hayter (Italy) representing the editors of the Italian magazine "Torsanlorenzo Informa"
• Mario Margheriti, Torsanlorenzo Gruppo Florovivaistico Soc. Coop.Agr.
