DESIGN OF THE GORÉE MEMORIAL (Senegal)

This project is designed as a narration, a canticle in three voices: the voice of stratification from the neighbouring urban fabric, the voice of the corniche and the voice of the museum which converges towards the memorial, the key point of the project. It traces the experience of the slave trade in stages according to a procession inspired by traditional African ceremonies and forms leading up to the << Abolition Plaza >> and the museum.
