Call for Nominations: Bureau and Council members (2021-2023)
By deferring the World Congress of Architects to July of 2021, the UIA has also postponed its General Assembly, 22-26 July 2021 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Every Member Section now has an opportunity to prepare candidacies for UIA office and to present nominations for the UIA Bureau and Council for the 2021-2023 period.
The posts open for election are:
- Eight Bureau members: Three serve international mandates (President, Secretary General, and Treasurer), and five serve as regional Vice Presidents (the Immediate Past President is an ex officio post and is not elected).
- Twenty Council members: The Council represents the Union's five regions, with four Council Members per Region.
Only UIA Member Sections may nominate candidates and view more information in the Member Area.
