2011 Pritzker prize winner Eduardo Souto de Moura will speak at the UIA 2020 World Congress of Architects in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Born in Porto (Portugal), he worked with great names in Portuguese architecture, such as Noé Dinis, Álvaro Siza Vieira and Fernandes de Sá even before graduating in architecture in 1980. The next year, he won the competition for the project of Casa das Artes, a cultural centre in Porto and gained international acclaim. Souto de Moura is also the recipient of the Wolf Prize in 2013; the Piranesi Award in 2017; the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale.
