Upcoming UIA EDUCOM Webinar | Aligning Architectural Education Across Allied Built Environment Disciplines

21/06/2025

The UIA Architectural Education Commission (EDUCOM) will have its 3rd international webinar, taking place on 27 June 2025 from 13:00 to 15:00 (Paris Time). This session, titled “Aligning Architectural Education Across Allied Built Environment Disciplines”, will explore new trans-disciplinary paradigms in architectural education that bridge disciplinary divides and promote collaborative innovation.

As the challenges of our time become increasingly interconnected—ranging from climate change and social inequality to evolving urban environments—the need for integrated approaches in design education is more urgent than ever. This webinar will bring together leading educators and researchers to share insights on collaborative studio models, governance structures for cross-disciplinary teaching, and curriculum innovations that align professional integrity with the complexity of contemporary design challenges.
