The UIA and UN-Habitat announce an extension of the submission deadline for the UIA 2030 Award: 3rd Cycle.
Participants now have until 7 November 2025 to submit their entries.
This extension gives architects around the world more time to share their vision for a sustainable future and show how their work contributes to creating inclusive, resilient, and sustainable built environments.
The UIA 2030 Award highlights the role of architecture in advancing the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with a particular focus on SDG11 and the New Urban Agenda. It recognises built projects that exemplify architectural excellence while contributing significantly to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The third-cycle winners will be announced at the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan (18–22 May 2026), and promoted across UIA and UN-Habitat platforms, including the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona (28 June–2 July 2026).
