International Innovative Design for Health Award

The International Union of Architects (UIA) has launched the 2nd edition of its International Innovative Design for Health Award, organised by the UIA Public Health Work Programme (PHWP) and sponsored by MillerKnoll. The award is open to architects from around the world.

The UIA Award for Innovation in Architectural Education – 3rd Edition

Open to colleges, schools, departments, or programmes of architecture worldwide, the third edition of the UIA Award for Innovation in Architectural Education will recognise excellence in architectural and urban design education, focusing on innovative pedagogies that foster contributions to realising the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals across the five UIA regions, while reflecting their broad diversity.

THE DAYLIGHT AWARD 2026

For the first time, the award is presented by the Daylight Academy (DLA), an international membership organisation committed to promoting daylight knowledge and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among daylight experts worldwide.

UIA 2030 AWARD: THIRD CYCLE

The International Union of Architects (UIA), in partnership withUN-Habitat, have launched the third cycle of the UIA 2030 Award, a biennial international prize that promotes the role of architecture in advancing the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with a particular focus on SDG11 and the New Urban Agenda.

2026 UIA Gold Medal and Triennial Prizes

UIA Member Sections are invited to submit nominations for the UIA Gold Medal and the six UIA Prizes. The winners will be announced during the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona, Spain, in 2026.

UIA 2030 AWARD: SECOND CYCLE

The UIA, in partnership with UN-Habitat, launched the second cycle of the UIA 2030 Award in January 2024 to promote the work of architects contributing to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda.
