Initiated by the Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants of Austria (Bundeskammer der Ziviltechniker:innen Österreich), the anotHERVIEWture Award promotes positive change towards greater gender equality and diversity within the built environment. The anotHERVIEWture Award gives women in technology a strong collective voice. Only together we can pave the way for more women in technical positions and create new perspectives for future generations.
The anotHERVIEWture award is Austria’s first award dedicated specifically to raising the profile and recognition of female architects and engineers. Following a successful edition in 2024, the anotHERVIEWture award is now entering its next round this year – submissions will be accepted starting March 31, 2026.
What is the anotHERVIEWture Award all about?
Visionaries such as Zaha Hadid, Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky, and Lise Meitner have influenced entire generations of female architects and engineers with their work. The anotHERVIEWture Award follows in this tradition: as a platform that creates new role models and sets impulses for the future.
The anotHERVIEWture Award 2026 provides women in the professional fields of engineering and architecture with a platform to showcase their work, gain visibility, actively engage, and connect with one another. The award aims to raise awareness of the significant contributions women make to architecture and engineering, while creating strong role models for future generations. In doing so, the award sends a strong signal to woman in technical professions and gives them the visibility and recognition they deserve.
