The 14th São Paulo Architecture Biennale, will take place in São Paulo, Brazil. This year, the BIAsp will take place from September 18 to October 19, 2025, at the Oca Pavilion in Ibirapuera Park, designed by Oscar Niemeyer.
Organised by the Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil – Departamento de São Paulo and , this edition is curated by a collective group of architects. The curatorial proposal, Extremes: Architectures for an Overheated Planet, invites professionals from across the architectural field to submit proposals that address the urgent challenges of climate change and extreme weather events through architecture, urbanism, design, and landscape architecture.
There are currently four active open calls:
- Exhibitions and Activities (Deadline: 1 June 2025)
- International Competition for Architecture and Urbanism Schools (Deadline: 1 June 2025)
- Involvements – Online preparatory debates with architects and community leaders (Deadline: 8 June 2025)
- Architecture Fair for Climate Adaptation – Showcasing decarbonisation products and services (Open until spaces are filled)
Participation is free and open to professionals worldwide. Submissions must be completed online via the Biennale’s official website.
