The International Union of Architects (UIA), through the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals Commission (SDGC), reminds architects worldwide that submissions remain open for the 2026 UIA Guidebook for the 2030 Agenda.
Objectives:
To showcase architectural projects addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to promote sustainable and responsible design practices, and to provide a valuable resource for professionals, educators, and policy-makers.
Eligibility:
Submissions are welcomed from individual architects, collectives, firms, research groups, public agencies, private entities, and NGOs, provided that at least one qualified architect is involved.

- Architectural projects
- Urban, landscape, and territorial plans
- Design projects
Selection criteria:
Proposals must address at least one SDG. Up to five proposals per SDG will be selected. The Editorial Board reserves the right of final selection.
Deadlines:
- Submission deadline: 30 July 2025, 17:00 CEST
- Results announced: December 2025
- Guidebook launch: 2026 UIA World Congress of Architects, Barcelona
