The UIA International Forum 2027 is set to take place in Mumbai, India, from 12 to 16 November 2027, at the Jio World Convention Centre. Chosen as the host city during the 2024 UIA General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Mumbai will welcome architects, urban planners, researchers, and policymakers from around the world to explore the theme of “Urban Regeneration.”

The AHA International Convention of Architecture 2025 will take place on 7 March 2025 at the Nemzeti Atlétikai Központ, Budapest, bringing together leading architects to explore a fundamental theme in architecture: transparency.

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Belt & Road International Symposium 2025 will take place from 28 February to 1 March 2025 at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.

The UIA Commission on Architectural Education organised a webinar on ‘Emerging Global Trends in Architectural Education’.

The event included three very interesting presentations: Radicant Design by Jana Revedi, Decolonising Architectural Pedagogy by Ashraf Salama, and Ear to the Ground, Gaze to the Stars by Selma Harrington.

The International Union of Architects (UIA) has launched  an international ideas competition designed to inspire and empower young architects to take a leading role in participatory urban design.
